Season 5 will be the last season of The Boys. But this series ending was planned — not due to cancellation. And this won’t be the end of The Boys universe, a new prequel series, Vought Rising, is currently in the works.

How does The Boys connect to Gen V? 

The Boys spinoff, Gen V, takes place between Seasons 3 and 4 and The Boys. Gen V follows a group of college-aged supes, and everything that happens at the Vought-run school is canon in The Boys universe — and plays a big role in Season 5 of The Boys.
